I Started showing Poodles in early spring, 1994. Prior to this I had owned poodles since I was a small child, starting with a white toy & a black miniature. Then I had an apricot miniature when I was 15, then an apricot standard.
When I began showing it was with a black miniature bitch, Emma, or Leryvas Jasmin for Bielcee.
I enjoy showing my poodles, Lhasa Apso and Pekingese, and we travel all over the country including Ireland. Of course they live as very much loved
pets at home, where they all live in the house. All the preparation, trimming and bathing, etc is done by myself, for pet and show trims.
We live near the coast surrounded by 4 1/2 acres of paddocks, gardens & woodland, 2 miles from the University
town of Aberystwyth. All the dogs, including those in show trims, are allowed to walk and play in the fields and woods at home, and also go for long walks in the forestry tracks near where we live.
